My name is Scout Jacobs, and I am a determined and goal-oriented individual in the early stages of my career journey. As a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a BA in English and in Journalism, I have a passion for creative storytelling, collaboration, and showcasing an organizations’ mission in unique ways.

I have gained valuable experience within the journalism industry through both student-led publications and freelance experience. My journalism experience jumpstarted my interest in digital media, motivating me to gain experience through internships and extracurricular opportunities. As a former PR & Marketing Intern for Swell Education, I increased brand visibility and social engagement through creating social media posts, analyzing social media metrics to inform creative decisions. After Swell Education, I expanded my learning as a PR & Marketing Intern at CY Rogers. I showcased my ability to boost a brand’s engagement and visibility through compelling copy and captivating email marketing materials. I also learned the ins and outs of PR through media outreach and pitching.

With these and many more experiences, I hope to continue to express my passion for creativity and effective communication. I am always looking to connect and find new opportunities!
